2. White collar crimes
A. Types:
Identity theft – is on the rise.
There are many ways to steal identity:
1. Steal a wallet and then you have the drive
Id and Credit cards, and easy to use that to
Become that person.
2. Go through the trash of the target and obtain credit card statements and other personal information.
3. Hack into the target’s computer.
4. Set up a phony contest scam and get personal info on line or by phone.
5. Call and say you are the credit card company and need to verify that the target still has their credit card by verifying the 3 digit security code.
Protect yourself:
Shred documents that have your personal information
Such as bank records, credit card receipts and
Statements.
When showing your Driver’s license as ID, ask them
To look at it but not write it on your check.
Use one of two excellent pens that soak into the
Paper thereby stopping check washing –
Which is another way to steal your money
And identity…

The Uniball 207 series
Both tested and passed with
Flying colors. I use them, not
Just on my checks but on all
My important documents.
